Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 install error - Increase disk space in setup.ini

In the course of upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 10, the in place upgrade process requires that Kaspersky Endpoint Security be uninstalled. After the upgrade completes, there may be an issue attempting to reinstall Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 on that computer and receiving an error to "Increase disk space requirement in Setup.ini and try again." This message may be inaccurate, especially if there is more than enough available space. When an attempt is made to manually install the application a different error occurs indicating an issue with the driver klhk.sys_x86. So what is the issue? It appears that in some cases the uninstall didn't remove all of the files thus preventing the reinstallation from completing.

The solution to resolving this issue is to follow these steps.

1. Uninstall the Kaspersky Network Agent

2. Reboot the computer

3. Download the KAVREMVR.EXE

4. Run the Kaspersky removal tool

5. Select the exact version that you previously removed

6. Reboot the computer

7. Reinstall Kaspersky Endpoint Security and reboot.
