How to move Outlook navigation bar to the bottom

If you are like most, you get frustrated by Microsoft's continued changes to their application user interface (UI). As Microsoft continues to change the Microsoft 365 Office suite there is one change that seems to have many looking for the easy fix, how to move the Outlook navigation bar from the side back to the bottom.

1. Open Microsoft Outlook

2. Select File -> Options -> Advanced >

3. Near the top you will find under Outlook panes the option "Show Apps in Outlook", uncheck this box and restart Outlook

This should work for most Microsoft Outlook 365 installations.

We hope that this information is helpful. Please let us know how this has helped you or if you have additional questions. As always Firestone Technical Resources, Inc. is here to help with your computer support issues - "Providing personal service for your impersonal technology."
