After joining a Dell Latitude 5520 Windows 10 system to Azure AD and then rebooting the system, the boot process fails to complete. Every attempt made to resolve the issue failed. We were unable to boot the system in to Safe mode. The Azure AD information indicated that the system was successfully joined. The system would not complete the boot process no matter how long is was left to boot.
Our first attempt to resolve this issue was to use the Windows 10 Restore option. This wiped the initial configuration and restored the system to working condition. After joining the system to Azure AD and rebooted, the system failed to complete the boot process.
Resolved: The system was reinstalled with a Microsoft Windows 10 20H2 media from Microsoft and then joined to Azure AD. This allowed the system to boot correctly.
